Ocean Tours is formed by Diego Quintas, Ignacio Lamas & Lucas Quintas.
After traveling much of the world for over 6 years we arrived at Playa del Carmen, Mexico, in 2002. Three months in the Riviera Maya were enough to fall in love with the clear waters of the cenotes, the infinite variety of life that is found on coral reefs, the diversity of fauna and the Mayan culture.
The richness of the Mayan Riviera coupled with the courtesy that one finds in the people of Playa del Carmen were good reasons to make this tourist paradise our home.
In 2003 we took the Whale Shark Tour (as many good tourists have done) on the Holbox Island and after this incredible experience we decided to organize our own tour so we can continue to enjoy this giant of the sea; thus Whale Shark Discovery was born.
Over the past 4 years Whale Shark Discovery operates the Swim with Whale Sharks or the Whale Shark Tours at both Contoy and Holbox Islands. At present time, Ocean Tours operates the following tours Whale Shark Discovery, Isla Contoy Eco tour, and all water activities for the Hotel Esencia, an excellent boutique hotel located in Xpu-ha, Riviera Maya. |
